Screenings and Events
Feminist Film Screenings
The Feminist Film Screenings is a year-round feature film screening series programmed and hosted by the Media Center. We engage with the community to challenge what feminist film is, and aim to create a positive discourse for fellowship and social change amongst media makers and media audiences.
Event Spotlight
On Thursday, November 30 the Sloate Media Center hosted a special edition of our Feminist Film Series in partnership with The Athena Center: a screening of the psychological horror film Birth/Rebirth (2023) followed by a talk back with writer/director Laura Moss in conversation with Artemis Rising Filmmaker Fellow Sushma Khadepaun.
