Snowpiercer is a 2013 American film directed by Bong Joon-Ho. The film takes place in a future where a failed climate change experiment has killed all life, ushering in Earth's second ice age, survivors live aboard the Snowpiercer (a luxury train that travels around the globe.) The train's poorest residents, who live in the squalid caboose, plan to improve their lot by taking over the engine room.
